The Learning Accomplishment Profile, 3rd Edition (LAP-3), is a criterion-referenced assessment for children functioning in the 36-72 month age-range. The LAP-3 assists teachers, clinicians, and parents in assessing individual skill development of young children. The results can be used to generate a complete picture of a child's developmental progress. This assessment can be used with children with typical and atypical development.
The LAP-3 contains a hierarchy of 383 developmental skills arranged in chronological sequence across seven domains of development and provides a complete picture of a child's developmental progress so that individualized, developmentally appropriate, activities can be planned, implemented, and monitored.* When used in conjunction with the LAP-3 Computer Scoring Assistant users may access:
- Individual assessment results and summaries
- Classroom profiles
- Parent reports
- Group and individual progress charts
- Links to developmentally appropriate activities
- Individual, classroom, and center analysis of assessment results in relation to Head Start's Child Outcomes
